Quayside is a replacement dwelling in the Suffolk Coasts and Heaths AONB. The design uses contemporary materials, mixing brick, timber and zinc cladding to enhance the estuary setting, while a first floor balcony capitalises on the eastern, estuary aspect for morning sun without the home overheating. A south terrace offers a great area for entertaining.

Quayside Passive House, located on the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is a contemporary 2-bedroom replacement dwelling.

Designed to Passivhaus standard, Quayside will deliver optimal energy performance and a harmonious integration with its unique riverfront setting.

This is Quayside, where we demonstrate that a contemporary replacement dwelling designed to Passivhaus standards in the Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB harmonises with its setting. The use of brick, timber and zinc complement the riverfront location, whilst illustrating how the scale works effectively alongside the other existing buildings.

Quayside Passive House has been meticulously designed by Habitat+ Architects to seamlessly blend with its surroundings. The use of brick, timber, and zinc not only complements the riverfront location, but also enhances the visual appeal of the dwelling.
