Cubed Homes has successfully delivered its first Passivhaus project using the Beattie Passive Build System. After completing a two-week training course, they have built a two-unit development in Southborough, Tunbridge Wells. The scheme features a four-bedroom house and a three-bedroom single-storey dwelling, both designed with energy efficiency in mind. They incorporate solar technology, including photovoltaic (PV) panels and Sunamp thermal batteries, which store energy to provide hot water.
